Commissioned character artwork for the Forlorn Raider Series Book 9.
My favourite character to work on in the book 9 series as I could forget about most of the constraints that come with drawing characters.
She is just all presence. I wanted to convey just that - SHEER presence. A character in the book who doesn't say anything, but is powerful beyond all measure. An ancient dragon-like being trapped in a humanoid form. Silent, imposing, wounded, yet tightly controlled.

Quote from the book:
"We entered the room to find a creature unlike any I had ever seen before. Before I could utter a single word, Nova said it all.
"What in the fuck are you? It's like your elvish grandma fucked a lizard, and then that abomination had sex with a demon. I can't make heads or tails of you. Could you be an elf that was in the process of being turned into a demon?
No, maybe you are a human that was converted into a demon-type elf?
Either way, your ugly as shit."
